Google’s Play Protect system, which runs by default, can notify users or block specific apps that display malicious behavior on Android devices.
When asked about the effectiveness of Google Play Protect, Reid said: “Any type of fraud protection needs to be tuned and updated with the latest techniques, and that’s where we help Google.”
