The connectivity revolution is here—but telcos face mounting challenges in delivering seamless, secure and globally compliant IoT solutions. According to the new “IoT Now Q3 2025 Analyst Report” by floLIVE, service providers are grappling with:

  • Restrictions on permanent roaming in markets such as Turkey and Brazil.
  • Performance gaps caused by high latency and low throughput in traditional roaming.
  • Rising enterprise demand for seamless global coverage and data sovereignty compliance.

The report highlights how technologies such as eSIM (SGP.32), multi-IMSI and local/regional break-outs are shaping the future of IoT connectivity. Nearly 80% of operators surveyed see SGP.32 as more flexible than legacy standards, while 87% emphasise the importance of single-pane-of-glass connectivity aggregation platforms for managing complexity For telcos, the message is clear: adapting now means capturing growth opportunities, retaining customer relationships, and enabling enterprises to scale IoT globally.
