- Hoda Kotb returns to NBC to rejoin her former 10 a.m. co-host Jenna Bush Hager as hosts of the two-hour primetime special A Toast to 2025, airing from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- They will look back on the most unforgettable, buzziest, and inspiring moments of 2025, joined by a wide-ranging lineup of actors, athletes, comedians, TV personalities, and NBC News talent.

- A special edition of NewsNation Prime covering the day’s latest news headlines and developments will air on Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 6-11 p.m., co-hosted by Brian Entin and Jessica Kartalija.
- Beginning at 11 p.m. ET, a one-hour special, Year in Review: The Moments that Mattered, will air, hosted by anchor Elizabeth Vargas.

- Anchors Shannan Ferry and Dean Meminger will be live from Times Square this New Year’s Eve, beginning at 11 p.m. on NY1 and Spectrum News YouTube channels.
- They will be joined by special guests from Broadway, as well as Roger Clark speaking with the crowd in Times Square and George Whipple reporting from the festivities at Tavern on the Green.
