Prada Beauty has named Zendaya as the new global ambassador for Prada Paradoxe, signalling a fresh chapter for the fragrance line. The appointment of the multi‑hyphenate American actress, who turns 30 on September 1, coincides with the launch of a new campaign directed by Oscar‑winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins.
Rosa Carriço, global president of Prada Beauty, says Zendaya “perfectly captures the spirit of Prada Paradoxe — a vision of femininity that resists definition, evolves constantly, and remains deeply authentic.” She adds that Zendaya’s ability to stay true to herself while reflecting the cultural mood of today makes her the ideal partner for this next chapter. Carriço highlights Zendaya’s “radical empathy” and “multidimensional energy,” qualities that mirror the ever‑shifting identity of the Prada woman.
The debut aligns with the introduction of Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum, a new floral–fruity composition that elevates sweetness with refined complexity. It balances intensity and softness through a lively blackcurrant syrup accord, orange blossom absolute, and a warm, enveloping neroli milk accord.
Zendaya reflects on the fragrance’s ethos, saying she loves how Paradoxe “embraces complexity, expressing both strength and vulnerability without confining anyone to a single definition.” She adds that the scents we choose mirror how we move through the world, and that joining Prada felt instinctive — especially since Paradoxe was already one of her go‑to fragrances long before the partnership was proposed.
Zendaya, the youngest actor ever to win two Primetime Emmy Awards for her role in Euphoria, a performance that also earned her a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award in 2023, has firmly cemented her status as one of the most influential talents of her generation.

Her filmography spans major global franchises and acclaimed auteur projects, including the Spider‑Man trilogy, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga, and Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, where she took on dual roles as both lead actress and producer. In 2026, she returned to cinemas with Kristoffer Borgli’s The Drama, followed by her highly anticipated comeback to the Spider‑Man universe in Spider‑Man: Brand New Day. She also stars in one of the year’s biggest upcoming releases, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
As Zendaya joins Prada Paradoxe, the brand enters a bold new phase, one driven by cultural momentum, creative ambition, and a commitment to redefining the boundaries of beauty. Her global influence and multidimensional talent elevate the fragrance’s story, infusing it with renewed energy and relevance. With this milestone, Prada Beauty reinforces its position at the forefront of modern luxury, charting a dynamic path forward as it continues to shape the conversation around identity, artistry, and the power of self‑expression.
