2025 is drawing to a close, which can only mean one thing: CES season is here. CES 2026 is just around the corner, and major brands like Dell, Samsung, Lenovo, Motorola, Google, Asus, Acer, and many others are gearing up to unveil their latest hardware and software innovations.

CES 2025 delivered no shortage of announcements, and CES 2026 is shaping up to be just as busy. Some companies have begun teasing what they plan to showcase on the show floor, while rumors around upcoming launches are already circulating. Here is everything you need to know heading into CES 2026.

CES 2026: Dates, location, and everything you need to know

  • What is CES: CES, short for Consumer Electronics Show, is an annual trade event organized by the Consumer Technology Association. It serves as a platform for tech brands to showcase their latest innovations.
  • CES 2026 dates: January 6–9, 2026
  • CES 2026 location: CES 2026 is going to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
  • Which brands will make an appearance at CES 2024?: Many brands, including Samsung, Google, Asus, Motorola, Lenovo, Acer, Nvidia, TCL, and others, have confirmed their attendance for CES 2026. As is the case every year, Apple is unlikely to appear at the event.

CES 2026: What to expect

The Pocket-lint team will be on the ground bringing you all the latest coverage from CES 2026. Until the event officially kicks off, here is everything you can expect from major brands:

Samsung

Samsung has historically been a major presence at CES, and this year is no different. The company has already made its intentions clear ahead of the event. And if you are expecting the Galaxy Z TriFold to launch in the U.S., you may be disappointed, as Samsung has instead confirmed plans to focus on new smart appliances at CES 2026.

In a press release, Samsung revealed it will showcase a Gemini-powered smart refrigerator along with an AI-powered Wine Cellar on the show floor. The Gemini-powered Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub will be able to recognize a wider range of food items, according to Samsung, while the AI Wine Cellar will introduce several new features not seen before.

Beyond these, Samsung is also expected to showcase new smart TVs at CES 2026. The company could still tease or announce the Galaxy Z TriFold for the U.S. market, but do not expect any concrete details around the Galaxy S26 series just yet.

Lenovo / Motorola

Lenovo appears to have major plans for CES 2026, as the company is set to host its Tech World press conference at the Sphere on January 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST.

Lenovo has not shared what it plans to unveil at the event, but rumors suggest we could see a new Legion Go Gen 2 powered by SteamOS, along with a rollable OLED gaming laptop featuring a display that expands from 16 inches to roughly 24 inches.

As for Motorola, CES 2026 could be a big moment for the brand. Rumors suggest Motorola is planning to launch a new foldable smartphone at the event, marking a first for the company. So far, Motorola has focused only on flip-style foldables that compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series.

However, reports indicate the company is now preparing to debut its first-ever book-style foldable at CES 2026. Motorola has already sent press invites featuring a wooden flip book, hinting at the device’s upcoming announcement. We will keep you updated as soon as Motorola makes things official.

Google

Google has not yet officially confirmed its presence at CES 2026, but the company has historically maintained a presence at the event, so we expect it to show up once again. In addition to partnering with Samsung on the Gemini-powered refrigerator, Google is expected to showcase new Android and AI features on the show floor, as it often does at major industry events.

There could also be a showcase of new Android XR-based hardware, given the company’s recent push around the XR platform. As a result, it would not be surprising to see Google partner with a wearable maker to demonstrate new hardware in this space.

LG

LG has confirmed it will be present at CES 2026 and will host its press conference under the moniker “Innovation in tune with you” on January 5 at 8:00 AM PST at Mandalay Bay. The company says it will unveil a portfolio of AI-powered solutions designed to expand connectivity between devices, people, and spaces.

In terms of actual hardware, though, LG is expected to announce new OLED TVs along with gaming monitors. You can also expect new Dolby Atmos modular soundbars and possibly smart appliances integrated with its ThinQ platform.

TCL

TCL is one of the brands that consistently shows up at CES, showcasing new TVs and advancements in display technology, and CES 2026 will be no different. The company already makes some interesting smartphones that can double as Kindle-style devices, and you can expect more along those lines at the show.

TCL has confirmed it will unveil a “new generation of groundbreaking display, mobile, and wearable devices,” highlighting its latest SQD-Mini LED technology. Alongside TVs powered by this tech, the company is also expected to showcase NXTPAPER eye-care smartphones, e-note tablets, and new AR glasses.

Dell

Hands on with the Dell 5455 laptop

CES 2025 marked a major shift for Dell, as the company dropped its well-known XPS, Inspiron, and other branding in favor of Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max.

We expect the brand to unveil a new lineup of devices under the same branding for the second year in a row. Alienware should also showcase next-gen gaming systems and monitors, along with gaming-focused accessories.

Asus

Asus is also expected to have a strong showing at CES 2026, with a focus on both gaming and laptop hardware. The company is reportedly planning some updates for the ROG lineup, including refreshed Zephyrus laptops and an updated ROG Ally handheld, possibly an Ally 2 with improved battery life.

We could also see Asus push its dual-screen laptop concept further with a new Zenbook Duo, alongside updates to its glasses-free 3D OLED laptop. In addition to these, you can also expect to see ExpertBook and ProArt laptops from the brand.

Qualcomm

Even though Qualcomm held its Snapdragon Summit 2025 just a few months ago, where it unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the Snapdragon X2 Elite, we should start seeing the first laptops from various brands powered by these chipsets at CES 2026.

In addition, we could also see updates to the company’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis platform for cars.

In addition to these brands, many others are set to attend CES 2026, including Sony, Acer, HP, and smartphone accessories makers such as ESR and UGREEN, all of which are expected to unveil new products for the year ahead.

The Pocket-lint team will be on the ground bringing you the latest hands-on coverage from the show floor as announcements happen, starting with Samsung on January 4, 2026. Which brand reveal are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments section below!
