BMW Launches Next-Gen 5 Series with V2X Capabilities, Partners with JOYNEXT for Smart City Development
V2X, or Vehicle-to-Everything, is a key technology that makes advanced intelligent vehicles and autonomous driving a reality. It ensures vehicle-road-cloud communication, providing a wide variety of proactive safety information. For instance, it can warn drivers about potential collision hazards in real time, reducing the risk of traffic accidents. The all-new BMW 5 Series that integrates V2X technology will help users enjoy a safer and smarter travel experience, enhancing travel efficiency and providing peace of mind on the road.
The brand has always been customer-centred, taking safety and responsibility as the prerequisite for providing customers with a mature and reliable driving experience. In this spirit, BMW has partnered with JOYNEXT, an industry leader with extensive experience in globalised product implementation and independent R&D capabilities. JOYNEXT’s role in this collaboration is to elevate BMW’s ‘Sheer Driving Pleasure’ to a new dimension while jointly promoting the realisation of the Smart City Vision.
