LG Unveils Free Audio Streaming Service with User-Friendly Features

LG Electronics has launched LG Radio+, the company’s ad-supported audio streaming service, now available on LG smart TVs running webOS 6.0 and above. This new service allows users to access diverse podcasts and radio programs effortlessly. For a streamlined user experience, LG Radio+ will work with the LG ThinQ app,1 providing users with a convenient way to access and enjoy their favourite audio content no matter where they are in the room. The LG ThinQ app will be available later in 2025.

For quick and easy exploration, LG Radio+ has an intuitive interface with a comprehensive channel list, presenting popular audio channels on the On Air page alongside a personalised selection of favourite channels.

To deliver a curated audio streaming experience, LG has partnered with global radio and audio provider Radioline, creating an all-in-one platform for effortless access to news, sports, music, and more. Available in the US and Korea, LG Smart TV users can enjoy a variety of live stations and podcasts, including NPR, CNN Radio, Fox Radio, and The Joe Rogan Experience in the US, as well as popular local stations and podcasts in Korea.

The LG Radio+ app is easily accessible through the Content Store, the Apps menu, or the voice search feature on the LG Magic Remote, offering a fast and convenient way to discover new audio content.

Designed for seamless exploration, LG Radio+ features an intuitive interface with a comprehensive channel list. The On Air page highlights popular live audio channels, while users can save their favourite stations for quick access. The Podcast and On Air pages provide streamlined navigation to desired content, and the Featured page dynamically showcases trending music, updated in real time to reflect the most popular and seasonal hits.

With a vast library of over 14,500 channels in the US and more than 440 in Korea, LG Radio+ makes it easy to search, discover, and enjoy a wide range of audio streaming options tailored to diverse preferences.

As part of LG’s ongoing commitment to enhancing user convenience and connectivity across its innovative products, LG Radio+ will soon integrate with the LG ThinQ app. This seamless connection will allow listeners to effortlessly stream their favourite audio content on LG audio devices.

Looking ahead, LG Radio+ will also become accessible via the My Button on LG XBOOM speakers starting in 2025, further expanding its reach and usability.
