But with so much of our daily lives now conducted online, and so much of our personal info logged on various digital servers, it’s imperative that you have a strong password process, and that you regularly update your passwords, or use a code generator, to enhance your own protection.

Which is annoying, it can be frustrating trying to remember passwords to get into every app, but every cybersecurity expert will tell you the same, while they’ll also reiterate the importance of two-factor authentication to protect your accounts.

As a reminder, the team from Visual Capitalist has put together this overview of the most common passwords that people use, based on data gleaned by NordPass from a 2.5TB database of credentials that had been exposed in various data breaches.
